See You At The Pole 2013!

syatp2013See You at the Pole is an annual gathering of Christian students of all ages. Students from across the country congregate in front of the flagpole at their respective schools for prayer and Bible reading. Students join together to pray for their schools, their faculty, their friends, their neighborhoods, their city, their church, and their world. This year, it’s not just a day–See You at the Pole will be a Student Prayer Week.

Then on Wednesday, September 25th at 7:00 AM local time, everyone is encouraged to gather at a school flagpole to pray. This means that for 24 hours, students across the globe–in every time zone–will be praying for their school, friends, families, churches, and communities. For See You at the Pole 2013, students are being challenged to find new and unique ways, places, and times to pray throughout Student Prayer Week (Sunday, September 22 through Saturday, September 28). Whether they attend public school, private school, or home school, students are encouraged to gather their friends wherever and whenever they can to pray any time that week.

To help you and your students out, I created a guide with tips and suggestions, plus an outline your youth can use for their school’s time of prayer! Download that here, and make sure to check out the event website for more info and resources.
