Jamboree 2020
What is Jamboree 2020?
The Jamboree is a territorial high adventure camping experience for youth ages 12-18 who participate in Girl Guards, Rangers or Boy Scouts at their corps. This is an opportunity for youth and leaders from around the Central Territory to come together to experience the adventure of camping outdoors and the wonder of God’s creation.
How much will it Cost?
The cost for each participant (youth and adult) is $150. The fee for non-troop members is $200.Additional fees may be applied by divisions for transportation and/or incidental fees. Please see your corps officer for fundraising opportunities.
When is Jamboree 2020?
The Jamboree is Thursday through Tuesday, July 9-14, 2020.

What is the theme?
The theme is “Beyond” which is based off of 2 Corinthians 4:18, “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
Are there any prerequisites to attend?
  1. Membership – Must be a registered member of a character building troop on the date of registration. (Unregistered persons may attend on a limited basis, with the approval of the corps officer in their own corps and the divisional youth secretary.)
  2. Completion of Emblems
    1. Guards – Discovering 1 or 2, Hit the Trail, Roughing It, Safety First-First Aid emblems
    2. Rangers – Star Level, Campcraft, Backpacking, Emergency Preparedness emblems
    3. Scouts – Second Class Scout, First Aid, Camping, and Hiking Merit Badges
  1. Participation in a divisional pre-jamboree training
